Created during a residency in a domesticated natural environment, initially BLEU PÉNOMBRE is an ephemeral multimedia installation made from audiovisual fragments of landscape collected in Parc du Bic. Found objects, indigenous matters and video sequences are accumulated and then integrated, through a spontanous assemblage process, to a sculpted paper, projections and artisanal screens diorama. The recomposed environment is accompanied by a soundtrack elaborated from samples recorded in the Parc. Secondly, this evolutive scenery is filmed in close-up and once again reconstructed in the form of a contemplative video matched with a multitrack musical composition. In these interpretations, a fabricated, seductive landscape can be observed, where plastic diversions, instrumental additions, virtual gaps and wandering humans coexist. A tension settles between the attraction of the wild and its clear absence from this invented place which, at once, affirming itself as « landscape », implicates the presence of an indiscreet gaze.
